2006 vineyard View Zinfandel is selected from vines in the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County. This wine was aged in 100% new American oak cooperage and released unfiltered. Black cherry fruit and blackberry jam leads into a rich wine of earth and spice. Black pepper, mushroom, clove, musk, sandalwood, and cinnamon follow in the wake of the this full bodied wine. Almond and silky cocoa define the structured tannins. A soft cedar oak adds depth to the finish.
