An absolute knockout wine that shows distinct Foothill notes of blueberry, spice, and dark cherry. A dark and mysteriously balanced wine that actually gave hints of a heavy-handed pinot noir. A great wine for a blind tasting event too!

The 2006 Bell Road Sangiovese is selected from a vineyard growing the Brunello clone, in the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County. This wine was aged in 100% French oak cooperage and released unfiltered. full bodied fruit of blueberry, plum and raspberry accent the lush mouth feel of this wine. silky tannins introduce a cocoa and cinnamon backbone, followed by a spiced vanilla and soft clove finish from the French oak.
