Nose of berries and smoke. On the palate, cedar on dark red and black fruit. Black pepper. Nice. Has good fruit and structure. 87 pts. 8/31/12 at winery
A great Syrah, Well worth the price and it's not one of their Reserves.
Very nice. Good with food.
White pepper, tar, jam and a bit of petroleum. Not for the faint of heart. Pretty tasty even pushing near 15% alcohol. This is the one to open for the hot chick that loves red wine. Was that out loud? Oops!
I'll say it here and I'll say it now: I've never had a better Syrah. This, along with the 06 Dream Catcher, remained in my cellar for a few years after visiting the TJ vineyards. Lush, lavish, rich in blueberries and blackfruit. Incredibly big-bodied, so be forewarned. Simpyl a fantastic wine.
A very smokey, jammy syrah that pairs gear with anything at a BBQ
