What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

Winemakers Notes

100% malolactic treatment and was left on the “lees” for (8)eight months. This was done to maintain the acidity and to give the wine the middle mouth complexity desired.

The vineyards used are 90% Mendocino County and 10% Sonoma County.

winemaker's notes: This beautifully balanced Chardonnay has hints of mango melon mineral and incredible acidity. The nose is delicately perfumed with citrus and green apple. This Chardonnay is a treat for your senses with a mouth feel that is rich and creamy while still displaying crisp and clean flavors that we have come to expect from the Mendocino Chardonnay.

This is a unoaked California Chardonnay that is medium bodied with a rich and creamy mouth feel. This wine still maintains a crisp, clean taste. Noted hints of melon and citrus with balanced acidity without much heat. Finish is pleasant but fleeing. Overall a decent wine for the money.

A very good chard that has a smooth feel on the palate and a nice finish. Best enjoyed sllightly warmer than most whites to allow the aromas to escape and floral hints to peak.
