Vintage: 2006 07/24/2007

Fresh and lively unoaked chardonnay, this one smelled of golden delicious apples. Soft and fruit friendly, with apple and citrus flavors. A little bit of alcoholic heat in the nose and on the finish make me think this one will be even better in 6-9 months, although giving it a little time to open may do the trick for drinking now.

Found it on sale at the local grocery store. It is simply awful. Maybe it's past it's prime. It has some sort of chemical taste ... maybe gasoline. Fruit is not there. Am going to pour out the rest.

Found this winery while lost in Healdsburg one winters day. Bought a case to send home. Just love driving around Sonoma and Napa valley stopping a new wineries. If only I had more $ to sample wines.
