Toad Hollow Cabernet Sauvignon California Concinnity 2005
Wine Tasting Notes Concinnity: A perfect blenda beautiful marriage. What better way to describe this wonderful blend of grapes from the finest vineyards in Napa, Paso Robles and Lake County. This is the marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A meritage of great varietals to compliment the grand center of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape.
Smooth with a slight bite. Not very fragrant, but a hint of cherry.

Rating: 85/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the August 2010 issue. Straightforward black cherry fruit is overlain in the nose by a light veneer of cedary spice, and the wine picks up on the themes of cherries again in its accessible flavors. Far more concerned with fruity appeal than with depth and potency, the wine keeps its tannins in check and will make pleasant drinking in the mid-term.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Further bottle aging can improve this wine.
