Tiziano is a brand of wines based in Tuscany, Italy, named for 16th century painter Tiziano Vecellio. The wines are produced mainly in the Chianti region, and feature a traditional Chianti, Chianti Riserva, Pinot Grigio (produced in the Veneto) and Prosecco.
Had this wine last night... pretty light for a Chianti... great table red, actually... wanted more but was the sole drinker with mother and daughter...
I'm not a wine snob and in fact I think 99% of people that go around describing wines with ridiculous adjectives could be easily fooled if I slapped a high price tag on something. What the heck is a BOLD flavor? Did it stand up to a bully for you? Anyway I digress. But I do know decent chianti because it's pretty much all I drink... this chianti is great at any price. I think that a LOT of the taste of booze comes from what they ferment it in whether it be scotch or wine... or even beer... and I'm willing to bet the casks they ferment this wine in are not really charred because it isn't smoky and full of tannin bitterness. I love this wine.
