Titus Zinfandel Napa Valley 2007
Bright and intense with notes of sugared rhubarb red raspberry cranberry preserves coffee and the barest traces of both chocolate and mineral. The rich flavors suggest dark cherry and black raspberry preserves wrapped around touches of pepper bramble smoked meat and American oak spice. This is a full bodied wine with a lengthy finish that will continue to evolve in bottle.
Great balance in the nose! It's not overly jammy or peppery. Nice blueberry, plum and tomato left. The 15% petit sirah adds richness and balance and it makes for a great zinfandel! Very nice red and black fruit. Great structure and balance of brush, pepper, fruit without being over extracted. - Tasted at Marché Bacchus 10/2/10

Ripe aromas of spicy, briary red fruit are wrapped in exotic spices on the nose and translate through to the palate with the addition of candied raspberries and cherries. The mouthfeel is full bodied and lush and offers hints of sweetness on the palate. This Zin's long spicy finish is enhanced by vanilla, licorice and toast notes imparted by the American Oak used to age this wine. Recommended drinking time is three to five years from vintage with a maximum suggested aging time of eight to ten years from vintage. We also recommend decanting this wine for about an hour prior to drinking. - Winery ** Only 3 in Stock **
