Bright red-ruby. Complex nose melds bitter cherry, currant, violet pastille, shiso leaf, pipe tobacco and currant leaf. Rich, sweet and lush in the mouth, with good size and structure. Aromatically complex and not at all heavy. Flavorful finish features sweet, suave tannins and notes of spice and chocolate.

Ripe and complex, though the wood plays a vital role in this wine. It offers depth, with dill, blackberry, earth, plum and plenty of cedar flavors, finishing with firm, chewy tannins. 1,250 cases made.
