Titarelli Family Reserve Tempranillo 2005

Member Review by lucto:

Eye: blackcurrant juice. even a bit of lighter in colour foam occured, exactly like the juice Nose: fruity, fruity, fruity. archetype of all features I associate with "argh, this is nasty South American wine" - blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, black currants. Everything. Plus hint of eucalyptus/mint and some oaky vanilla (of course, this is reserve) Mouth: classical as well. smooth, slight acidity, residual sugar, extractive and full-bodied. General opinion: boring and predicitive as hell ( does it really make a difference this is tempranillo not malbec ?! not for me) avatar of New World. In serious winelovers companion I would be ashamed to admit that I cherish sympathy for it. But while pursuing great european wines, one can stop once in a while for a glass of blackcurrant juice :-) that's why it get's half a glass more. Tried in April 2010
