The price is definitely right for this wine. I can get it as low as 2.49 per bottle. It can just about compete with the boxed varieties. I tried making it a staple table wine but it didn't work out for me. It tastes okay at first, like a generic red wine, but then, like all of the tisdales, it has a strong sulphury aftertaste. I couldn't get past that sulfur. Mulling with rosewater, cinnamon, and grapefruit makes even the blandest boxed wines drinkable, but there was no saving this one. Plus, I'd always wake up with headaches and a dried out complexion after even a glass or two with dinner. I had to quit. My body didn't like this stuff. 4 or 5 dollars seems to remain the lowest I can manage to pay for a reasonably good wine.
Ahh! Who thinks this is okay to bottle? This is atrocious. I paid 2.99, which means it should be at least one dollar better than Charles Shaw. This tastes like milk and fruit juice. Fuck, my face hurts for some reason. Fuck whoever made this wine. I hope their family dies in a car wreck due to another driver drunk on this horrible shit. Die, die, die.
