A very good red for the price ($7 or so), though to my taste much less interesting than the 2005, which actually resembled a good if simple Bordeaux in both flavor and texture. This one is clumsier feeling and less structured, as well as less varietally right-on, with chunky cherry/chocolate flavors and an open-knit structure that says it should be drunk early.

A lot like the last vintage, but slightly more interesting. I may be tasting a mint finish............hmmmm. I will need more tasting.........I plan on tasting the 05 and 06 in a head to head tasting. Will revisit this when I do. Currently I think I may like the 05 vintage a tad better.........
