- Subtle yet understated. Lovely purity of fruit. Well-judged extraction showing plenty of depth and lift. Elegant with a fine future. Drink 2-8 years.

- Planted in 1904, the Aberfeldy vineyard is a unique site, containing friable, red loam over limestone at the bottom of the eastern-most hills of the Clare Valley. The cropping level in the vineyard is never more than 1.5 tons per acre, producing grapes with intense color, flavor and tannins. The wine is an intense magenta colour with dark cherry, mulberry, spice and vanillin on the nose. The palate is full-bodied and well balanced with firm drying tannins.
