The Tilia Malbec-Syrah shows a bright purple color with violet highlights. The nose is full of rich black fruit aromas with light earth notes and a touch of roasted coffee. The palate displays concentrated cassis and black raspberry fruit flavors interwoven with a touch of chocolate and sweet spice finishing with ripe, silky tannins.

Toasty, with ample notes of smoke and spice accenting the dark plum and cherry notes, which hold out through the smoky finish. Drink now.

The 2010 Malbec (60%) ndash; Syrah (40%) displays darker fruit than the 100% Malbec cuvee along with ample, plush, savory fruit. Like the other wines in this collection, it will provide pleasure over the next 2ndash;3 years.

Winemaker's Notes:

Black cherry and blueberry on the nose along with hints of vanilla and leather give way to a full, rich wine with ripe concentrated red and black berryfruit interwoven with sweet spice. The finish offers ripe silky tannins. Pair with steak, grilled or smoked meats, salmon and a variety of ethnic cuisines.
