Excellent! Great value. Good body. Great start and finish. Smooth but has some body. I only had one bottle but plan to try more. Read more

Not a bad wine for less than $10 USD. It is a little tangy, but overall good for the price.
External Reviews for Tilia Malbec
Very sweet and forward, with ripe blackberry and boysenberry fruit pushed by a creamy-textured, mocha-tinged finish. Maybe a bit too sweet and easy for some folks, but will have fans. Drink now.
The 2006 Tilia Malbec presents a dark purple color with violet highlights. The nose offers bright black cherry aromas with light floral notes and a touch of toast. The mouthfeel is full and rich, with ripe, concentrated cassis and black raspberry fruit flavors interwoven with a touch of chocolate and sweet spice from light oak aging. This finish is long and lingering, with ripe, velvety tannins.
In our blind tasting, we were impressed at the concentration and depth of this wine. We found complex notes of blueberry liqueur, cherry, cola, rose blossom, fennel and rye. With its soft texture, it is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
A flashy, ripe style, offering sweet spice, plum sauce, raspberry jam and mocha notes backed by a plush finish. Very up front. Drink now.
Bright dark red with ruby tones. Aromas of dark fruits, spices and chocolate. Supple, silky and smooth, with a restrained sweetness and a saline element to the dark berry and soil-driven flavors. The soft finish features dusty tannins.
Sweet and savory aromas of hickory, BBQ and plum jam are nice, while the body is structured and full. The flavors follow the nose, meaning there's a savory, roasted quality to the wine but also jammy raspberry fruit notes. Chewy and a bit marinated, but it's quite good for the price.
Dark and full-bodied, with a big bouquet of coconut, char and blackberry. The palate is thick and chunky, and that seems right given the wine's sweet black-fruit and chocolate flavors. Add in some oak, baking spice and mocha and you've got a solid, tasty, generous wine.
