It is unknown exactly what the head of the Tili family found here among the hills of Assisi when he arrived in the wake of Barbarossa in 1200, but since then the Tili family has cultivated with passion this earth mixed with rock to produce the best fruits, such as wine and olive oil. In 1978 Pietro Tili, following the family tradition from generation to generation, began to bottle the production of his farm and thereby make his dream come true: to make his wine travel all over the world so that the lovers of fine wine could discover it and appreciate it. His passionate commitment and continuous research have supported that dream and the approximately 100,000 bottles produced annually enjoyed by wine-lovers in Japan, the USA, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. Very nice. Not overly oaked. The pinot adds a mineral dimension that you don't find normally find in a 100% chard. Well worth a try if you can find it.
