Percentage Grape: tempranillo, average age > 25 years<br/><br/>Soil: 80% clay-chalc-20% stones<br/><br/>Growing Climate: mild weather, with atlantic and mediterranean influences, average rainfall of 400 l/m2. Vineyards are in a hang of the Iregua Valley, 600 m. over sea level.<br/><br/>Date of Harvest: October 2006<br/><br/>Type of Harvest: Organic viticulture, supervised by the Organic Farming Control Authority of La Rioja, according to EU-ecological agriculture regulations. Organic treatments using natural compost made from ground vine canes, pomace and sheep manure. Manual harvest in 15 Kg tubs, Cctober 2006<br/><br/>Vinification Method: Almost completely desteming of the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks under controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation also in steel tanks.<br/><br/>Vinification Temperature: below 31 C<br/><br/>Malolactic: in steel tanks<br/><br/>Alcohol Percentage: 13 %
