Three Saints Pinot Noir 2012

External Review:

Dark ruby color in the glass. Scent of black cherries, toasty oak and pencil lead. Middle weight flavors of blackberries, black grapes and dark plums with underpinnings of toasted oak and tobacco. Nicely composed and easy to drink.

This is my favorite Pinot and it never fails to soothe me. We discovered it on a trip to the Santa Ynez area a few years ago and it was the best wine of the whole trip, which is saying a lot. It's hard to find but well worth the effort.
