Vintage: 2005 05/07/2009

I was really hoping this wine would be great because it's a great price point and readily available in the bay area. But alas I was disappointed. Strong alcohol scent to it and that's the first thing that hit my tastebuds. But the follow through didn't make up for it or complement the alcohol. It wasn't sweet - wasn't tannic. The best way to describe it was sour. I hope I got a bad bottle but I'm also not buying it again.
