The Williamsburg Winery Governor's White 2011
A fresh, fruity semi-dry blend, perfect as an aperitif or with light fare. A wine for all seasons, this fruity wine is an excellent complement to seafood as well as ham, and light luncheon fare. Chilled, the wine will also be good company to cajun and other spicy cuisine. In keeping with The Williamsburg Winerys tradition of historical identification of their products, the inspiration for Governors White was Governor Berkeley (Governor of Virginia in the 17th century).
One of Virginia's largest wineries producing over 60,000 cases per year. For the 3rd consecutive year "Decanter World Wine Awards" of London has rated several Williamsburg Winery wines as some of the "Worlds Best Wines". NOW OPEN, Wedmore Place, a 28 room luxury hotel on the grounds of the winery. www.wedmoreplace.com
