The Terraces Zinfandel 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Deep ruby color with ripe berry and black cherry aromas lead to full body with moderate tannins and a long fruit-filled finish. The primary Zinfandel block is between 300 and 400 foot elevation in the eastern foothills of Rutherford. The volcanic tufa soil and the Werle clone first planted on the site in 1880s produce intense flavored small clusters and small yields (< 2 tons/acre). 520 cases made.

Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
