The Skinny Vine Thin Zinfandel 2011
The Skinny Vine California Thin Zin was carefully selected to exhibit the juicy berry characteristics that make this wine so beautifully aromatic and delicious. A slow fermentation allowed our winemaker to achieve the perfect level of sweetness, which is complemented by a mouthwatering acidity. The resulting wine is beautifully fruit-driven, clean and crisp for light and carefree moments. 089819543359
Not your traditional Chardonnay, this wine is light and crisp but not quite like a Pinot Grigio. Ok for the price nice for a warm or hot summer day. I gave it 2.5 only because it is not a chard or even an unoaked chard but its drinkable
Judging this one unfairly because I have a favourite already in this category, but surely deserves a respectable nod. Slightly tart, slightly dry, definitely zinfandel. Biggest issue I have is that it doesn't seem to have enough character to distinguish it from other Zins. If you're a Skinny Vine collector, surely keep this in the rack, but for me there is another.

The White Blend offers a balance between fruity and floral, showcasing a bouquet of rose petal and freesia with vibrant stone and tropical fruit aromas. The off-dry style complements the subtle flavors of peach pie and guava, while richer notes of honey and candied orange peel round out the palate. Pleasing apricot and citrus flavors linger and the wine finishes with a pleasing, refreshing acidity.
