Honestly I was first drawn to the wine because of the interesting label, but then the wineshop owner told me it was actually a very complex and well made wine, so I gave it a shot. I had the Banknote red blend a few months ago at a Pizza joint in Napa, I was really impressed! The nose was ripe with berries, sweet oak and espresso. A medium bodied wine, but is bursting with ripe fruit and has nice tannins on the back end to give it some structure. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Zinfandel, which I think is the dominant varietal in this blend. Easily worth the $30 asking price.
while the blend is very similar, the wine is a bit more elegant and livelier than 'the prisoner' it's certainly a red I would easily recommend...

The Show opens with deep garnet color and aromas of cassis, plum and clove, leading to juicy flavors of blueberry and blackberry, smooth tannins and a crisp, long finish. This charming wine could share the billing with grilled yellowfin tuna, well-aged cheddar, or pork loin with wild mushroom madeira sauce. The Show is a well-balanced example of Cabernet Sauvignon to enjoy often and at this price, buy a case, and share the experience with family and friends!

The Show is a Cabernet with the style and flair of a show biz headliner at the price of a virtual unknown. Produced by celebrated Napa hero Joel Gott and his Three Thieves crew, the label is inspired by the famous Hatch Show Prints that have announced everything from the Rodeo to Louis Armstrong to Elvis concerts. The grapes are from Sonoma and Mendocino with a touch of Napa Valley. It has a tiny bit of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Sirah blended in and it’s aged in French and American oak barrels.
