The Show Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
i enjoy other newman's own products so i thought i might like this too but it's just ok...nothing spectacular.
Good, not great - Beefy Tannins, Quick Finish.
Nice wine especially for it's price. Best if it breathes for a few hours first. At coop in calgary it's 15 cad.
Granted I'm a wine novice, however I love this wine, was turned on to it by a wine club....can't walk into a store without buying it. The right blend of smoothness, dryness and taste.
Not that impressive, lacks finish, but a drinkable wine for the price
I thought this wine was absolutely lip-smackingly delicious. Love the hint of spices. so yummy!
For the price, it is excellent. I'm actually very impressed.

Big and bold, this wine is dominated by full flavors of dried black cherries, jammy preserves and layers of spice and sweet vanilla. - Winery
The Show is a Cabernet with the style and flair of a show biz headliner at the price of a virtual unknown. Ray Isle of Food & Wine Magazine likes it so much he’s recommended it twice. As a Top 25 Wine of Summer he called it an “ebullient, cassis-driven Cabernet…” and to match a holiday rib roast he said it was “A full-throttle California Cabernet…It’s polished enough to serve with a rib roast, but it would also be fantastic with burgers.” Produced by celebrated Napa hero Joel Gott and his Three Thieves crew, the label is inspired by the famous Hatch Show Prints that have announced everything from the Rodeo to Louis Armstrong to Elvis concerts. The grapes are from Sonoma and Mendocino with a touch of Napa Valley. It has a tiny bit of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Sirah blended in and it’s aged in French and American oak barrels.
