The Scallywag' Chardonnay 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

The bouquet & palate are filled with fresh, cool fruits: honeydew, green apples & lemongrass, with hints of almond & the faintest edge of yeasty complexity. To give the wine a certain je ne sais quoi, we included in the blend wine from two, nicely seasoned, one-year old French oak barrels adds some depth & complexity that is so subtle it almost doesn’t change things. But it does. Share this wine with friends over grilled scallops with asparagus & lime, Caesar salad or creamy seafood chowder!
