This is a blend of carefully selected grapes from several of Royal Tokaji’s vineyards, using the 1st growth Nyulaszo vineyard as the benchmark. This wine is usually called Red Label in the USA and Blue Label in the rest of the world. As in all aszu wines, the three grape varieties are Furmint, Harslevelu and Muscat de Lunel. The characteristics are a vivid gold colour with honeyed apricot and orange peel flavours which are uplifted with dramatic acidity. VINTAGE Outstanding. High sugar levels produced wonderfully accessible wines.
