The Rare Wine Co. New York Malmsey Bottle NV

Member Review by JTG01:

tasting now. feels lighter, more burnt than a blandy's 15yo Bual. closer to what I would expect in a 5yo Sercal. more depth in some respects, but, again, the feeling of blending games designed - alas - to bring a few extra levels to an undeveloped (immature?) back-room no-label product that makes up the majority of the bottle. absence of expected BODY. Layers are isolate, distinct, unintegrated. No segue from the edge to the round (as I would expect of a truly mature, carefuly constructed product). (re Bual v. Malmsey - any comments on how off the track I might be in my considerations?)
