Add your reviewThis is one wine I like more when I first open it, then after it breathes awhile. It has a great 'smokeyness' in the bouquet and taste of that first glass, but then sadly dissapates the longer it is opened. Perhaps there were fires in the area when the grapes were ripening, but I have never experienced this smell and flavor in any other wine, and I really like it for a change of pace

Here goes :) Raspberries and slightly sour cherries, perfectly and delightfully balanced. The beautiful cranberry color has a medium body with beautiful legs that dance smoothly on my tongue as I sip. At first there is a very slight acidity but it explodes into a yummy cherry burst once meeting the back of my palate. Go to this Cabernet for an inexpensive, summer red with new skewl wisdom from old skewl vintages.
