The Naked Grape Us Pinot Grigio California 2008
This fresh and cheeky grape hides nothing, offering up peach and melon notes on the nose. Crisp and lively describes the confident personality of this grape with refreshing citrus and tropical fruit flavours on the palate. Serve with shellfish, salads, chicken, creamy pasta dishes, soft cheeses or on its own.
This Naked Grape is lacking in modesty... Its a good bang for the buck but need to be less WINE and more flavor. Hey, it was cheep and had a funny name- the reason my girlfriend picked it out- and thats 2 out of three in my book...
A great tasting wine for under 10 bucks. There are so many great wines for 10 bucks or less, but this one exceeds well above any wine out there. Well balanced and refreshing on a hot afternoon. A must buy if your looking not to break the bank. I would rate this wine a 6 on the snooth rating scale. Cheers!
Two and a half glasses
Bought this wine at Walmart to eat with a spinach salad after a very very long day of work. It was crisp and clean almost wine cooler like but a tad bit more sophisticated. You can smell the pear and it's clean. Not an overpowering long finish and just lite and fun. For a simple relaxing drink I really enjoyed it. Going to get a few more bottles to keep on hand next to the expensive stuff when I don't want to fret over what drink tonight.
Creamy mouthfeel with decent acidity on the finish. Notes of green apple with a touch of lemongrass and lime. Nothing pronounced or complex, but a fair choice for a summer weekday.
Really enjoyed this wine. Very crisp. Great deal. Not a strong finish, a little more acidic than fruity.
This is wine is not overpriced and it is good. Try it if you want a refreshing glass of wine.
