The Four Graces Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2005
Winemaker's Notes:
Carefully blended from the best barrels (80% new French oak), and bottled unfined and unfiltered for optimum expression, this reserve wine is an outstanding representation of Dundee Hills Pinot Noir. Aromas of black plum, licorice and cedar pave the way for a dense palate of ripe red fruits such as raspberries and cherries. Hints of rhubarb with spices and soft vanilla contributed by the oak add complexity. The mouthfeel is at first crisp and vibrant, evolving towards refined tannins with the red fruit flavors returning to linger in a long finish.

This might be one of the best and most unique pinot noirs to ever come from the Dundee Hills. I drink a lot (A LOT) of Oregon Pinot Noir and I love them, but you can certainly taste many of the similarities between them - not this bottle. If you are a true Oregon Pinot Noir lover, you must taste this wine.
