The Four Graces Pinot Noir the Four Graces Pinot Noir 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

"Lithe and open-textured, framing its delicate currant and plum fruit with hints of lilac and cream, lingering gently on the refined finish...91" WS 07/12 "Ruby-red. Ripe blackberry and cherry aromas are complicated by suggestions of cola and candied licorice. Seamless and sweet, with incisive cherry and dark berry flavors and a subtle floral quality. Shows very good depth as well as the vivacity of the vintage and finishes with gently gripping tannins and very good length...90" IWC 07/12

Big tart cherry nose. Light spice and slate. Hints of lilac. Delicate currant and plum on the palate with a spicy, refined finish. Very young and tight yet. 87 pts. 11/10/12

The nose reminded me of young, yeasty Beaujolais, making me think it was still a bit too young to drink. VERY tight palate, high in acid. Flavors of bright red cherry and berry. Will be nice when it mellows out in a few years. Tasted at Marche Baucchus 11/10/12

Reminiscent of strawberries, plums, violets, and cherries, the 2010 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is vibrant and delicious in its youth yet has the soft, focused tannins to suggest ageing with grace. - Winery ** Only 2 in Stock **
