The Climber Cabernet Sauvignon

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Lots of caramel, woodsmoke, moist earth and cocoa here accenting jammy blackberry, plum and prune aromas. This is pretty dense and rich with a broad base of tannins, good acids and some lovely, ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum skin fruit on the palate that is focused and fresh. Youthful but approachable this shows good depth, power and balance with a tight, snappy texture. Just lacks a bit of height. 87pts

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
