The Black Chook Shiraz NV
This non-vintage wine sparkles to the tune of a well blend; predominately 3 year old Shiraz, aged in old French oak barrels showing wonderful smooth integrated fruit and a rich weighty texture across the palate. This is blended with a touch of younger Shiraz bringing ripe juicy fruit characters to the finished produce. A rich, luscious Sparkling wine that is well balanced and food friendly.

very interesting. Berry filled, Plum, jams, dark pruple in color. the palate extends to raspberries, blackberries some blueberry pie or a berry custard Crisp nice acidity, refreshing and enjoyable to drink
What fun! This was my first foray into the world of Australian sparkling shriaz. It has strawberry jam in the nose and palate and a nice aroma of oak. Good acidity and tanins go along with the bubbles to make it a great pairing with food. Give it a chill and pop it open for a BBQ!
Loved this wine. I enjoyed it with friends and sushi and the light fruity flavour was a great accompaniment. It is an awesome one for festivities that aren't quite worthy of champagne . . . always fun to hear the cork go pop.

A medium-bodied sparkling red wine made from Shiraz. Mixed, fresh dark berries on the palate with just the right touch of bubbles and tannin. Drinks well today and has just a bit of sweetness to enjoy as a before dinner drink. You can give it just a light chill too before opening.
Bright violet color, with a frothy mousse. Intensely floral and spicy nose offers zesty strawberry and blueberry aromas and a hint of cracked pepper. Juicy, sweet dark berry flavors provide good palate coverage and become spicier with air. The blueb... Stephen Tanzer. A Proprietary Blend wine from South Australia in Australia. N.V.
