Food Pairings for Texas Hills Vineyard Toro de Tejas
When we visited northern Spain in 2007, we saw huge silhouettes of bulls along the highways, so when we created our Tempranillo (the noble grape of Spain) we decided to name it the "Bull of Texas" or TORO de TEJAS and place a copy of the silhouette on our traditional label. Grapes from Newsom Vineyard, near plains, where Neal and his family are one of Texas’ best growers. The wine offers full body, with a rich flavor, and the tannins are soft enough to allow you to enjoy with the flavor of dark berries and plum, and just a hint of spice
