Grape varieties- Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Vermentino Color- Straw yellow Bouquet- Mineral base with apple, pineapple and cream Taste- Full, fresh, persistent with a pleasant toasted final touch Pairs with- hors d'oeuvres, first courses, all types of seafood and shellfish, white meats with sauce, delicate red meats, roast veal and carpaccio
Very interesting blend of chardonnay, malvasia, vernaccia, and vermentino which makes for a wine that tastes like a very lean unoaked chard. Aromas of apple and hay, they give way to a mineral and lemon inflected palate. Perfect for delicate shellfish like oysters, shrimp, scallops. Had with seared scallops and lemon orzo.
