Tertre du Mouilin is a Grand Cru wine produced in the Libournais appellation, in the St. Emilion region of Bordeaux, France. The area has been planted with vineyards since Roman times, and these have typically been robust blends of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This value-driven wine has many admirers in the European marketplace.
This wine was a really good compliment to dinner. I really enjoyed this one as a 2006 and would sure like to try a 2005.
It's a shame i dropped a bottle of this wine and broke it and when i bent down to start picking up the pieces the smell was out of this world! I literally thought about licking the ground.....??? i give it 4 and a half out of 5, nice, but still young on some notes and young in general for a bordeaux.
