Crisp dry tea and cherries on the nose. A compressed cherry spectrum unfolds into an elegant floral dry chalky finish with lush tannins. Paired this with a spicy split pea soup with a touch of truffle oil and ground mustard. Holy crap!

the nose of cow manure faded away after 1.5 hrs of decanting. This wine is very boring. no distinct flavors. very old world...at $20 for a Barolo though it's some sort of value...goes well with food probably.
