Terrazas de Los Andes Malbec Reserva 2008
Wine Tasting Notes Deep red with blue shades. Aromas of red, black and dried fruits, especially plums and figs combine to give the wine a great intensity. Further hints of vanilla and caramel can also be detected. The wine is rich and juicy with soft, well-ripened tannin. Notes of black fruit, jam and vanilla blend to give the wine a mouth-watering finish.
Good deal for the price. Flavors of cherry, vanilla, and chocolate. Went very well with a juicy steak.
This this is a little astringent. Tasted at Geneva wine tasting 4/18/2010.
Another strong Malbec from Argentina. This has a nice round feel in the mouth and the light berry notes work well with lots of dishes.
Good but maybe little pricey for the quality.
Peppery & delicious

Slightly bouncy, brambly and foxy, with bubblegum and red-fruit aromas. The palate is sweet, friendly and plump, with a pretty good mouthfeel and candied berry flavors in the lead. Young and sticky on the finish; sweet and lively as a whole.
A toasty, medium-weight style, with dark cherry and raspberry fruit backed by a red licorice note. Drink now.
The 2008 Malbec is dark ruby-colored with a pleasant nose of cinnamon, violets, and black cherry. This leads to an easy-going, friendly wine with ripe fruit and spicy flavors. It can be enjoyed over the next three years.
A bright, slightly high-toned style, with red cherry, vanilla and red plum notes backed by a fresh, floral-tinged finish. Drink now.
Full red-ruby. Spicy cherry, currant and plum aromas are complicated by a whiff of vanillin oak. Supple and easygoing, with dark berry, black cherry and licorice flavors framed by a firm spine of acidity. Offers attractive texture and concentration for the price.
Upon swirling, jazzy notes of blackberries and sour cherries develop into fine traces of smoke and spices.
