Sabor relativamente áspero, onde o teor alcoólico se sobressai; levemente seco, com discretos taninos ao final.

Pleasing red cherry aroma with a little sea air in the background, then sweet, bracing red fruits with a final note of brown toast. The flavor may get lost when pitted against strong cheeses or other sharp tastes. (AV 86, http://argovino.com/?p=458)

For an inexpensive wine, didn't have to let it breathe. We wanted to try Malbecs and it had a 91 Wine Spectator rating. Not too dry and a very smooth finish.
