Terra d'Oro Moscato Amador County 2010
Terra d'Oro Moscato bursts with super-fruity super flowery aromas. Apricots and peaches are drenched in honey and wound with sweet jasmine blossoms. A subtle hint of lemon in the nose accentuates the refreshing acidity. A luxurious glass full of flowers and fruit is an undeniable pleasure. Terra d'Oro Moscato is a perfect accompaniment to fresh fruit desserts but don't be afraid to try it as an aperitif or with spicy cuisine such as Indian or Thai. Our favorite pairing is a baked or grilled nectarine with a drizzle of balsamic and creme fraiche.
Not a bad wine for the price. Decent character. Only a slight cloy to it. Nice for a easy drinking sweet/desert wine with a bump in alcohol content from the classic Muscats from Italy.
Three and a half glasses
Strong aroma of rose and honey. Complex floral flavors dominate this wine, but the sweetness is offset by slight but crisp acidity. A true pleasure to enjoy with dessert or as an aperitif.

The 2010 Terra d'Oro Moscato opens with an elegant bouquet of honeysuckle, orange blossom, litchi, and nectarine. Crisp acidity keeps the mouthfeel rich and balanced, with flavors of apricot and delicate rose petals. Try pairing the Moscato with a fresh peach tart or angel food cake topped with raspberries and cream.
