Terra Blanca Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain 2001

Member Review by RPerro:

Decanted 30 min. Big berry on the nose, with a touch of heat. Very smooth drinking, with blackberry and green pepper. Finish ends quickly and with a bitter taste. Tasty and drinking well. Very good - 86.

Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Beautiful nose of raspberry and vanilla, carrying over to the palate. A big wine that's really easy and enjoyable to sip. Full mouthfeel, and smooth tannins. Very tasty! Outstanding - 90 points.

As always, beautiful nose, luscious fruit, and long smokey finish. I love Red Mountain fruit! Very smooth. This bottle was popped a couple days ago and vacuum sealed. May explain the smoother-than-usual drinking this time.
