The 2008 Malbec-Petit Verdot Altos is a saturated purple/black color with outstanding tar, licorice, blackberry, and blackcurrant aromas. It is better balanced than the Syrah-Cabernet blend but will still require significant cellaring. Give it 5-7 years and drink it from 2015 to 2028. All of Terra Andina's wines are worthy of recommendation.

Winemaker's Notes:

Color: Deep and dark ruby red. Aroma: Intense and powerful with dry and ripe fruits such as figs and plums. Licorice, with hints of vanilla, toasted hazelnut and smooth coffee. Palate: Well balanced with good structure and soft tannins. Great development, mouth volume and a long finish.
