Tenute Sella & Mosca Alghero le Arenarie 2006

Member Review by Ciogga:

13° alcohol. This Sauvignon is a beautiful greeny yellow with a slightly peppery nose. I last had it with fresh 'pasta con i broccoli' and it was superb as it is acidic enough to cut through the oil, garlic and cheese, yet retained enough finesse to stand up on its own well after the food was done and dusted. You would pay around €8 a bottle in a Sardinian off-licence or €18 in a Sardinian restaurant. Recommended.
