Intensely deep ruby red in color -- fruity, spicy bouquet -- (definite) black cherry and other berries on the palate. Another reviewer described it best by calling it "jammy." Letting it breathe eases the thickness of the flavors. It really opens up as it sets, though you can easily drink it as soon as you open it up. The price point was beyond reasonable for a Tuscan blend.
