What to Expect

The classic Bordeaux blends rely on either Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon for the bulk of the wine with additions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec helping to add complexity, color, body and structure to the finished wine.

Winemakers Notes

Tasting Notes :Poggio al Lupo is deep, opaque purple in color suggesting its considerable intensity and extraction. The heady aromas deliver jammy black berry fruit and cassis impressions wiht notes of balsam wood and cedar which are confirmed on a palate of great silky voluptuousness. The finish is long, penetrating and seductive.
