External Reviews for Tenuta Luisa Pinot Grigio Friuli Isonzo
Offers aromas of apple pie, with just a hint of crème caramel. Full-bodied, delivering loads of rich fruit and a piecrust and light toffee aftertaste, with a great finish. Drink now.
The 2007 Pinot Grigio is a pleasing, soft-textured wine with varietal notes of flowers and white peaches. It offers lovely balance at this level. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2009.
There's a mineral, almost vitamin-like quality to the nose here that comes on the heels of mature apricot, honey and yellow rose. The wine delivers heft and density (which is not always the case with Pinot Grigio), and boasts an attractively saturated golden color. M.L.
Here is a very successful interpretation of Pinot Grigio with loads of aromatic intensity, stone fruit, nectarine, honeysuckle and yellow rose. The wine is smooth and creamy on the palate and offers long lasting fruit flavors.
This light-bodied Pinot Grigio displays a smoky base note as well as flavors of yellow apple, pear and vanilla. Creamy, with tangy citrus acidity for balance. Drink now.
