incredible complexity, freshness with a huge elegant tannin. Notes of cranberry, iris, violet ;floral to fruit to a huge mineral note with great sapidity on the finish. This wine is built for time.

Kocham to wino! ;) I love it! Full bouquet of roses and flowers from the hills fieldstone Montalcino, a stunning, full fruity taste and its gorgeous ruby red glow...hmm Definitely one of those wines that are worth their price. Absolutely recomended. Enjoy!

Vintage: 1998 06/17/2008

Ruby red. Complex nose, pot-pourri of rose and violet. small red berries, strawberries and cranberries, that have a metalic note lingering among them. the notes are really evident with a finsh evolving from herbs to balsamic notes to licorice.

Winemaker's Notes:

Brillant ruby red with orange reflections. Opens with an evolving note going from sottobosco-underbrush to a mature rose, violet and cherry notes. There are etherial tones, that turn into a big mineral note. This wine is tannic ,but is balanced with acidity that is really long on the palate,it gives a huge return of minerality and floral hints. This is a superb masterpeice of Sangiovese Grosso.
