- Blueberries pop on the nose and the alcohol is well integrated. This offers up some obvious leafy cassis in a decidedly cool, greenish nose that has well integrated cedary oak, a fleshy tone an building notes of smoke and char. In the mouth this has a rich feel with lovely fresh structure obvious tannin and integrated acidity. Frontloaded with dark baking spices over which is a top note of Cab Franc mintiness. This is awfully young and while richly fruited it is loaded with aggressive tanins which clamp down on the finish. Leave it be. 2012-2020
