Tenuta Ca' Bolani Pinot Grigio Friuli Aquileia 2010
External Reviews for Tenuta Ca' Bolani Pinot Grigio Friuli Aquileia
Perfectly balanced between stony mineral elements and green fruits. Crisp body, with notes of melon and grapefruit and a polished, refreshing finish.
A mineral-driven, crisp white with crushed stone and talc powder backed by garden greens, stone fruit and melon. Zesty and palate-cleansing, with sour grapefruit on the finale.
An uncomplicated and easy wine with lemon candy drops, pineapple, lemongrass and a generally crisp and clean nose. There's a fat feeling in the mouth.
Fruity, ripe tropical fruit notes such as white peaches, apricots and lychee nut. Lingering in the back are notes of nutmeg, allspice and a smoky/waxy flower component reminiscent of Stargazer lilies. On the palate, the wine is elegant and refreshing, with ripe fruit notes and a nice bracing acidity to keep things lively.
