Grown in stony vineyards at 1000 meters elevation in the arid Uco Valley, the warm, sunny days and cool nights ensure a long growing season allowing the grapes to ripen fully. A portion of the wine was aged in American and French oak barrels before being blended with a small amount (5%) of Cabernet Sauvignon for structure.
